Dragon baby.

It's been 12 years of highs and lows for me. I may not have everything but I have best friends and family. The Chinese believe that once you're born in the year of the dragon, you're initially said to be lucky. I am born in the year of the dragon although I'm not quite convinced about the luck part or maybe I just haven't tested it's powers. But what I know for sure is that I'm blessed.

Thank you Lord for the blessings, and I want to thank my friends and family too for the love and understanding.

I am iridescent.

Yes, iridescence is an optical phenomenon...and so am I.

To some I may be kind and loving, others fierce and feared. I may be described in a variety of adjectives one can think of...but it's safe to say that your perception of me is depended on your own personal biases.

Iridescent - vaguely unfamiliar to most, but that is who I am in a nutshell. I can never be anyone else but me, a wonder, a complexity, an imperfection, unparalleled and unique.

Dance like no one's watching

Today is all about dance - something I do at the confines of my bedroom. I'm not really bad at it, but at the same time it's not something I flaunt. But I do love dance in more ways than one.

Today I'm here to watch my 14 year old aunt Katya's dance at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

I enjoyed the whole show especially with the dancers coming from my home town.

Kiara version 20.12

I haven't blogged for years, and now getting back to it seems like talking to an old friend I haven't seen for ages. There's a lot of filling in to do, stories to tell, laughter and tears to share. So yeah, I'm currently in a transition from my 11th year going on 12th in the new few days.
